I took this series of images back in 2012 on the second week of a holiday in the Azores. We spent the first week in Ponta Delgarda on the captial island of Sau Miguel then moved to Faial for the second week in the main town called Horta. Horta looks over to Pico and that island has a large extinct volcano. I set up my Nikon D5100 on time lapse as the cloud formations were interesting. When I got home I created this animated GIF of the resulting photos.
